Spiritual Anatomy for Healers

Antoinette Caruso,
Ellsworth, ME.
Session 3.

Spiritual anatomy reveals the root cause of pain in clients that exhibit stress, anxiety, and physical pain. Emotional, mental, and spiritual issues can emerge in the body if not addressed early. By identifying the initiating factor, the practitioners can help clients heal more efficiently. The practitioner will learn the areas of the body and feel of subtle energies there that target specific emotional issues.

Antoinette realized from an early age that we are physical beings living in a metaphysical world. Because social and emotional issues, and even past life issues can impact our health and well-being, Antoinette addresses the whole person in her private practice. She is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Reiki Master/Teacher, psychic and spiritual counselor who runs a private practice in Ellsworth, Maine. She’s taught alternative healing methods to the staff at Richard E. Laube Cancer Center in Kittanning Pa, and hosted the radio show “Complete Health Conversations” on WWCH Radio in Clarion PA. Today she consults with client nationwide.

Nell Morningstar has been an avid journaler for over 50 years, and a Tarot student/reader/teacher also for over 50 years. She says it has been fun to integrate these two passions and find ways in which they deepen and enliven each other.

Sound, Singing Bowls & Gongs

Frank and Kathy Andresen,
Minnesota City, MN.
Session 3.

Gongs are useful in resolving emotional and physical dissonance. Magic happens when there is no separation between the gong, the player and the listener.

Playing and listening to gongs is about spiritual, physical and emotional resolution – opening of doors and windows to the Universe, moving around energies, Universal energies – to enter a spiritual dimension. The Gong is a psycho-acoustic gateway to heightened states of awareness and consciousness. It is an ideal tool for stress reduction.

Since the age of 7 Frank began his music studies learning to play the organ and moving up to 40 years of playing in various cover bands until finding his true calling in the vibrational arts with singing bowls and gongs. He and Kathy have found a great blend joining these instruments along with Native American flutes and other factors bringing a harmonic blend to the listener to be able to relax, reflect, and rejuvenate.

What is a Death Doula?

Anne Murphy,
Jane Whitlock,
St. Paul, MN.
Session 3.

What is a death doula? What are your options? What are the environmental considerations? What are your spiritual ideas? We cover these topics and more. Led by Anne Murphy (funeral celebrant) and Jane Whitlock (death doula), this lighthearted discussion will be an open forum to learn about your options and possibilities when it comes to celebrating a person’s life.

Anne Murphy is a Celebrant, Home Vigil Guide, and Death Educator. Anne is trained in the art of supporting individuals and families through the season of death and dying through heart-centered, compassionate, and meaningful conversations, rituals, and ceremonies. Death and dying are a part of life that can frequently cause fear, anxiety or straight up denial. By acknowledging death as a natural part of life and planning for it, thoughtfully and lovingly can support everyone involved. Anne has witnessed the calm confidence people have when they are empowered and educated to make their end of life wishes known. Though dying is not optional, the way we honor, celebrate, and relate to death is. Anne currently serves both nationally and locally. She is a founding member of the Minnesota Death Collaborative, Our Lady of Peace volunteer, Minnesota Threshold Network leadership circle and has served in various capacities for the National Home Funeral Alliance, Green Burial Council, Crescent Cove Pediatric Hospice & Respite and National Doula Alliance.

Jane Whitlock is a trained death doula. She supports individuals and families as they face the end of life. She recently did a TEDx Minneapolis on how we as a society are losing out on the gifts that death has to offer us, on the opportunity to lead lives with more meaning and love. She offers end of life doula training through Doula givers of NYC. She holds a BA in American Institutions from UW Madison. In her first life, she was a middle school social studies teacher and Athletic Director. She lost her husband after a four-month illness with kidney cancer. It was this experience that put her on the path to become a death doula.

Shamanic Meditation & Spirit Boat Journey

Mary Newstrom,
St. Louis Park, MN.
Session 3.

I am excited to be offering this workshop to you today. We start with the Circle of Light Shamanic Meditation, which is a technique to raise our vibrational levels. Raising our vibration is a simple technique that not only heals ourselves but opens us up for greater communication with our Guiding Spirits. As we learn to transfigure, which this technique is called, we bring our consciousness into a state of harmony and balance. As we repair damage on a spiritual level, the natural world begins to repair at the same time. Learn this profound technique that brings harmony and healing into your life. Leave with a deep understanding of connection.

Once we are energetically open through the meditation, we will then move into the second part of the workshop, which is a Spirit Boat Journey. Collectively we have more power than if we are acting alone, and the Spirit Boat operates on that premise. This technique has been used around the world in different cultures as a way to centralize power to heal and bring other benefits to the community. Through intention, the boat will move the group energetically into another dimension where you will speak and communicate with your Spirit Guide, bringing you more clarity on your soul’s purpose. No experience with shamanism is needed, only an open heart and an open mind.

Mary Newstrom, Ph.D., is a Shamanic Practitioner, Reiki Master and founder of Zenith High and creator of Spirit Flow~ shamanic study for Women. Studying the healing arts, for over thirty years, Mary works closely with both your and her Spirit Guides and Power Animals to deliver a powerful shamanic experience. She specializes in shamanic education, healing, cacao ceremonies, ancestral healing, and workshops that show practical ways to transform and heal our lives and the earth. She runs an educational and healing studio in the Minneapolis/Saint Louis Park, MN area. You can contact her at 952-913-5574 or Visit her website or on FaceBook@ZenithMaryNewstrom

Mediumship and the Divine Feminine

Claudia Johnson,
Minneapolis, MN.
Session 3.

This workshop will connect the history of women in spiritualism using the healing aspect of the Divine Feminine and how these amazing pioneers influenced the political and societal changes of their time. Inspired by the past, we will do a guided meditation to merge our energy with a healing, hopeful intention based on the Divine Feminine, designed to stimulate individual creativity. We will take what we learned, and ask our higher selves what action can we take as modern psychics, highly sensitive people, and healers to most benefit our time? We will break into small groups to create empowering affirmations, and share them with the whole group, building the energy as we go with goddess breathing, physical, emotional and spiritual grounding so everyone walks out feeling healed and empowered.

CLAUDIA N. JOHNSON, Psychic Medium, Reiki Master Practitioner, Teacher, Hypnotherapist is a naturally gifted intuitive, medium, and spiritual healer. As a professional dancer, she felt compelled to offer healing to other dancers in pain when she discovered she was feeling their injuries in her own body. As they healed, her pain also dissolved, and she would receive messages for them from spirit guides, angels, loved ones, friends, and even pets! In the 1980’s, Claudia got her first professional psychic job reading tarot at a metaphysical bookstore in Los Angeles. Realizing her readings were deeply therapeutic, recognizing her responsibility, and wanting to work with the highest integrity and honesty, Claudia became certified in hypnosis so her words would be healing and do no harm. She also received her first certification in Reiki in 1985. In 2014, Claudia began spiritual studies yearly at the Arthur Findlay College in England. Claudia has been a guest presenter at the University of MN Center for Spirituality and Healing. Claudia is the Founder and owner of Healing Energy Arts Center.
