Set up, hours of operation, and clean up:
Set up will be Friday, September 18th in the afternoon and evening. More specific times will be sent out as we get closer. There will also be set up time available 7am-8am on Saturday September 19th. Everyone is expected to be set up and ready to go by 8am on Saturday when the doors open to the public.
Saturday vending hours will be 8am-5pm. Saturday we will be hosting a social event in the evening but will direct everyone downstairs for the event and will make sure no one is in the vending area during this time.
Sunday vending hours are 8am- 4:30pm. You may begin packing up at 2pm if you would like but we ask that any packing up be paused during the closing ceremony which will be approximately 3:45-4p. We ask that you be packed up and out of the building by 5:30pm on Sunday.
Registration and Lunch:
We understand that you may want to attend some of the workshops that are being offered, yet we want to ensure the vendors we select will be available to the conference attendees. If you or another person you are bringing along to help vend wants to attend more than one workshop, we ask that you purchase a separate registration when those become available.
When you pay for your vendor spot you, will have the option to add on the buffet lunch that will be served at the conference. To accommodate staying available to vend during the lunch break, vendors who select the buffet option, will be allowed to go through the line before the lunch break begins.
Reparations Scholarship Booth and Featured Artist/Healer/Diviner booths
In accordance with our desire to help heal historically repressive actions, we will be offering 2 booths at no charge to a POC owned business and an Indigenous owned business. Please indicate on your form if you would like to be considered for one of these spots. If we have more applications than spots, we will look at factors such as whether the business is new or if it the first time the business is applying to vend at the Women and Spirituality Conference.
We are also offering 2 spots for a featured artist, diviner, or healer (one on Saturday and one on Sunday). This spot is free to the artist/diviner/healer in exchange for them offering their service to conference attendees for free on the day they are assigned. The artist/diviner/healer will also receive free registration for the day they are not assigned.
