Please note: All workshop sessions are 90 minutes long, please plan your time accordingly. Feel free to add a short break for participants if needed. You workshop may not be accepted if it does not meet the 90 minute session guidelines!

What is the process?
Once the deadline for proposals has passed the Stewardship Circle will review all of the proposals we have received. We first go through and assess each proposal individually. In the next stage, we look at all the workshops we want to accept and determine what workshops to offer based on time preferences, room-type preferences, etc.

Who Should Submit a Proposal?
We invite proposal from people of diverse spiritual, cultural and ethnic backgrounds to share traditions, respecting and celebrating our similarities and differences. We continue this tradition today and emphasize no one spirituality or religion. We invite anyone who identifies as a woman to submit proposals.

What Should Your Proposal Include?
We aim to meet the needs of our diverse conference participants by providing a range of topical and engaging sessions. We invite you to submit a proposal on any aspect of spirituality, personal or planetary healing. Our theme this year is “Together We Rise: Honoring Feminine Wisdom and Power”. Please link your sessions content to the conference theme. Please
include a description with clear, concise objectives that support your description. You’re welcome to submit more than one proposal.

Formats Accepted
We welcome a variety of formats: formal paper presentations, round table discussions, activities, experiential, demonstration and discussion. If your workshop is child-friendly or appropriate for teens, please indicate that in your proposal, otherwise we will expect all workshops to be mature teen / adults-only and will be noted in programming as such. Activities that celebrate spirituality are encouraged, including worship services and rituals. Please review the conference history pages (found under the ‘Archives’ tab) for previous workshops.

A Note on Gender:
We seek to be inclusive of all expressions of gender while honoring the Feminine, and we believe these values can coexist.
Workshops that honor embodiment of the Feminine, such as womb-based practices or woman’s moon cycle rituals, are warmly welcome and vital to the conference, provided they do not imply that having a womb is the only way to be a woman. Workshops that define womanhood exclusively through the presenter’s personal framework, without honoring the full spectrum of the Feminine, are less likely to be accepted.
We recognize that navigating inclusivity alongside embodiment-based practices can be complex. Not all expressions of the Feminine will resonate with all people, and that does not necessarily make a workshop exclusive.
For example, a workshop titled “Witching with Chronic Illness” is not exclusive, it does not suggest that being chronically ill is the only way to be a witch, but it is designed for a specific audience. Similarly, womb rituals or moon cycle honorings, may speak to a select audience and may not resonate with women who do not have a womb. These offerings are not considered exclusive as long as they do not frame womb embodiment as the sole definition of womanhood.
We understand that this topic can at times be tender and confusing. If you have questions or would like clarification, please feel free to reach out. We are happy to continue the conversation.

Presenters will receive either:
-Full registration to the conference which includes lunch on both days.
or
-Registration and lunch for the day you are presenting and a $100 stipend

All classroom spaces at the St. Mary’s U of MN Cascade Meadows campus are fully equipped with computer access, podiums, white boards, etc. You are not required to use any of this equipment but it is there if you need it. If your workshop is selected we will review your needs and have everything in place for you ahead of time. If you have a powerpoint or similar presentation, please use a USB flash drive. It is the responsibility of each presenter to provide any handouts or supplies needed for your workshop, though we may have a small budget to assist with this on a case by case basis. All presenters will have a volunteer assigned to them to assist with any technological or other issues throughout your workshop session.

Please note that proselytizing (attempting to convert others to your viewpoint) will not be tolerated, nor is using your workshop only as a means to sell a product or business. If you have a product to sell or business to promote, we welcome you to apply for a vendor space, vendor applications will be opening soon. Workshops are meant to teach, heal, inspire or to guide and create community.
