Emotions are the language of the body and thoughts are the language of our mind. Our bodies keep score and store emotions from our life experiences. Emotions we have either suppressed because we didn’t like feeling them or ones we clung to because they felt really good. Either way, trapped emotions cause havoc on our nervous system and impact our physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.
Theresa is a an educator by trade, a proud mother of four beautiful children, a lover of yoga, beautiful words, music, writing, creativity and nature. She holds a Masters in Integrated Studies combining the disciplines of leadership, holistic wellness, and human development. Her qualifications include many certifications in various modalities, including a Certified Life Coach, RYT Yoga Instructor, Reiki Master, Rapid Transformational Therapy Practitioner, Hypnotherapist, Inner Voice and HearthMath Facilitator. She loves giving back to her community and is passionate about working with people to discover, honor, and embody their inner self in order to live a life of authenticity, intention, and wellness.
She was inspired to become a coach and wellness practitioner through her own struggles navigating the journey of life. Through her discovery she found that no matter where she looked, no one could provide her with what she needed to be at peace … all the answers she needed she found through mindful awareness and looking within.
