Gather in circle and drum along with the vibrations of Mama Earth and all of Her children – including you! Using our drums we will call to the Spirits of the Place while sitting, walking, dancing and circling. Stories will flow and the winged ones, crawlers, two leggeds, four leggeds and swimmers will draw close and sing along with us. Breathe in the energy of this Place. Sink into letting go while gathering in and connecting with the gifts of Nature. Soak up the magic of storytelling! Dance with the beat of the drum and engage in crafting a story. Bring a drum if you have one. A book or box will do. There will be a few drums to share. Dress for being outside in late September.
I am a retired geography professor. I am a professional storyteller and I have facilitated drum circles for over 30 years. I’ve presented in Peru, Russia and through the USA.
