Movement for Mental Health

What our mind experiences, our body experiences. When our mind is coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health concerns, our body is coping with the same. In this workshop, we will discuss and learn movements, meditations, breathing exercises, and other techniques that help our bodies support healing in our minds. Even if you just want to learn to handle life stress better, this class is for you. This class is suitable for people with all abilities and with or without a formal mental health diagnosis.
Seal Dwyer is a mental health therapist, an activist, and a dancer. She is queer; she is fat; she is smart; and she makes no apologies for any of it. She lives in St. Cloud with her partner and their four cats.
